I'm Angus Mackie, a professional landscape photographer who specialises in panoramic, mountaineering and sea kayaking photography.
Set in iconic landscapes, my bespoke photography workshops are crafted for small groups and individuals, drawing on my expertise to develop your photography knowledge and skills.
As a qualified mountain and sea kayak leader, with many years of experience in leading groups out on the hills and kayaking the coastline of Scotland, I can further refine your day and your photographic adventures.

Spectacular Landscapes – 1 to 1 and Small Group Bespoke Photography Workshops

Small Group Workshop – Kintail, Skye & Lochalsh – Landscape Photography Tour
This full day tour, with an emphasis on photography, explores the iconic scenery on the road to Skye and Lochalsh. Travelling in a 4x4 vehicle, fully customised for “on-location” photography shoots, we make our way to Kintail with selected stops to admire and photograph the grandeur of the mountain scenery. Travelling along Loch Duich takes us to the iconic setting of Eilean Donan Castle - and inspirational material for capturing great composition.
Beginners Evening Photography Workshop – Inverness
If you are starting out on your photographic journey or are needing to better understand your camera controls, this foundation workshop is the ideal place to start. Based at the Ness Islands in Inverness, this workshop will run over two evenings.
Landscape Photography Workshop – Glen Affric
Glen Affric - the perfect location to discover the secrets of perspective in landscape scale photography - from mountains and glens to forests and water. Springtime provides superb photographic opportunities as the hues in the glens change and the snow gradually thaws from the high mountain tops. With new leaves and fresh growth on the trees, this is a magical time for landscape photographers.

Culbokie Woods provide an attractive woodland setting for this Scotland360° Photography Workshop. This workshop provides tuition on composition and perspective in smaller scale landscapes.

Kintail, Skye & Lochalsh – Landscape Photography Tour
Join me for a Scotland360° one day Photo Tour, exploring the iconic scenery on the road to Skye and Lochalsh. Everyone is welcome, whatever experience or photographic ability. Starting in Inverness, we travel to Kintail, Loch Duich, Eilean Donan Castle and then to Kyle of Lochalsh and the gateway to Skye. Our return leg may take us back via Plockton and scenic Loch Carron.
